What are the items that are not accepted in the Zero Waste Boxes?

Please note we currently do not accept the following items in any of our Zero Waste Boxes: Household items that may be considered hazardous waste. These include items such as:

  • lithium-ion batteries,
  • pressurized canisters,
  • pesticides,
  • oil-based paint
  • medical sharps,
  • organics,
  • broken glass,
  • biomedical waste,
  • soiled diapers,
  • expired medication.

Do not send in anything sharp, flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable, radioactive, toxic, infectious, or pathogenic.
